How do I care for my candle?

Please refer to candle care for how to properly care for your Les Bois candles.

How long will my candle burn for?

Burn times for each candle varies. Please see individual candle descriptions for their burn times.
If you choose to burn your candles, please do not burn for longer than 2 hours at any time.

Why do you use soy wax and not paraffin?

We use soy wax over paraffin as it burns slower, meaning your candles last longer.
Soy wax is non-toxic and biodegradable, making it the environmentally friendly choice.

What wicks do you use in your candles?

At Les Bois we use a non-toxic 100% braided cotton wick.

Do you wholesale your products?

Yes we are currently accepting enquiries.

What are your delivery options?

We ship Australia wide with standard postage $5 and for those that want their goodies ASAP $15 for Express.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, we do! Please see our shipping page for more info.

Are your candles Vegan?

Yes. Soy wax is derived from soybeans. Our candles are 100% soy wax, making them vegan.

Do you use eco-friendly packaging?

Yes. Where possible we try to reduce our impact on the environment.

Do you do gift cards?

Will you introduce different coloured candles?

Follow us on socials and keep an eye out for release dates on all new products.
If there’s a particular colour you just have to have in your home, please email us at hello@lesboisstudio.com for custom orders.

Will you bring out more clip styles?

I did not receive a confirmation email for my order.

Have you checked your junk mail? If it’s not hiding in there, please email us at hello@lesboisstudio.com and we will be happy to help.

I’ve decided I don’t want my order. Can I cancel?

That’s sad for you, but we can help. If we haven’t already packed and shipped your order we are able to cancel your order and refund the full amount.

The candle I want is out of stock. What do I do?

Please sign up to our mailing list. You will receive regular updates on new releases and re-stocked products.

I want to return my item. Who pays for postage?

Les Bois do not cover the cost of return postage.

Do you have same day delivery?

If you are located within 2260, NSW then yes. Ensure you place your order before 12pm and you will receive your order before 5pm that day given we have stock available.

What if my item arrives damaged or faulty?

Please email us at hello@lesboisstudio.com with your order number and a photo of your damaged item as well as returning the item back to us. Once we have received your item, we can organise a replacement or refund as soon as possible. Unfortunately due to the delicate nature of our candles this can sometimes occur from the handling of our parcels during transit. We ensure all of our candles are packed securely to avoid this.

Can I return a sale or sample items?

Sale and sample items are non refundable.

Are your candles scented?

We keep our candles unscented so they are safe for the environment, pets and your family.

Where can I find my receipt of purchase?

Where possible, we aim to be paperless so you will be emailed your receipt once we receive your order. Please check your junk mail as sometimes our emails end up there. If you cannot find it, please send us an email at hello@lesboisstudio.com

How do I clean my Brass Candle Holders?

Wait until wax is completely cool before gently removing with hands. Avoid using sharp tools such as knives to remove wax as this could damage the brass. Using a damp cloth, wipe clean. For tougher marks, combine equal parts vinegar, flour and salt to make a paste. Using a soft cloth wipe paste over candle holder until clean. Finish by wiping clean with a dry cloth.
